RPG Audio Kits are here!

Today we released the first in a series of game audio assets here on our Itch.io page. These have been available at DriveThru for some time, but we are bringing them to a new audience here. I'll keep this devlog brief with just an overview of what you can use these for. There are both music kits and sound effects kits in the series. The sound effects are what you would expect - regular sound files in .WAV or .mp3 format that you can add to your object instances, triggers, etc.

Many of the sound effect kits contain ambient background soundscapes (such as our Dungeon Ambience in RPG Audio Construction Kit #2: Dungeon Themes) and you can add that as a background sound to a level or room.

The music kits however are a different beast - while they are regular .WAV files, they are not complete songs. Rather, these are looping sections of isolated instruments that you use to construct your own compositions. Since this is a royalty-free license, you can do whatever you like with the resulting songs - sell them, license them, use them in your own games etc. You just can't sell the individual loops/files.
